Week 27 - Nhlangano/Queensburgh

Hello (or hallo if you will), onto area number three friends, but first we need to finish off Nhlangano, so let’s get to it, friends.

Monday: Last P-Day in Nhlangano. We had Zone council, went to Spur to eat, and then I went to get Swazi souvenirs. Very exciting last day.

Tuesday: Not much happened, had lessons, said goodbyes to some of our peoples, and got to try a nice bread that was made withe Maize. It was delicious.

Wednesday: What if I told you we spent another whole day stuck outside our area… We had DC and District Lunch, but after that we got a call from the ZLs that we needed to wait for the Sidwashini Elders Bakkie to get repaired so we could trade with them (our bakkie has a lot of problems and Sidwashini happens to be closer to the Ford dealership then we are. After that we went back and we met one more time with the Gwebus.

Thursday: Same story as Tuesday, but I also got lunch for the branch president, first councilor, and clerk to say goodbye.

Friday: Driving… yay… we left the boarding at like 9:00 in the morning, went to pick up Elder Thamae, drove to the border, almost got denied exit from Swazi, drove to a gas station, waited for President De Kock to give him a document, then drove to Durban, arriving at about 9:00 at night. We spent the night at the Berea Boarding with the one and only Elder Pew and Elder Hall.

Saturday: Transfer day folks!! We met at the pinetown chapel, I got to see some friends from around the mission, then I got with Elder Lowe and headed out. We got pizza for lunch (you can get a personal pizza for like $1.50) and we went to see some Queensburgh people. We met a super cool member family, Sister Sam and Brother Carlo, and our neighbor, Mama, who's daughter is serving a mission but she is not a member. She's super cool though.

Sunday: Pretty good Sunday if I do say so myself. Met the Queensburgh Ward, and had what I'm told is super good sacrament attendance. After that we met with a new member whos aunt is inactive, another cool member family, and Brother Dave, who fed us chicken and ice cream πŸ˜Ž

Sorry I'm late, but hopefully this means you'll get my next email even sooner technically, but I make no promises πŸ˜
