Week 24 - Nhlangano

Monday: Chopped more wood, felt more pain. After that we headed to Manzini and didn't do much interesting. We had to get the Bakkie cleaned, but that was about it.

Tuesday: Not much interesting, we drove for 30 minutes to get bunked, but while we were already pretty much 80% up a mountain, we decided to do the extra 20% and take pictures. After that, I had to face what we in the business call the consequences of my actions and figure out how to do a 20 point turn so we could make it back down the mountain without dying

Wednesday: District Council, I talked about something from Preach my Gospel (A guide to sharing the gospel). After that, we had some lessons, and put our friend Lucky on date! Elder Maaboi has this goal of baptizing a bunch of people on the same day, and getting other areas to do a bunch of their baptisms on the same day, so we can absolutely blow up the Eswatini Zone. It's going to be sick.

Thursday: Today I assisted in building a house (surprisingly less tiring than chopping wood) a lot of the houses here are made of cement, so we helped lay cement between the cement blocks (did you know cement is heavy??? Who knew!) After that we had more lessons 😌

Friday: We met with the Mesilela family again (the super cool family from last Wednesday). They're still super cool, listening and asking questions and being open to new things, pretty much a missionaries best friend. We also met a new friend named Similo, who we kinda shook… hopefully when we see her this week she'll have had time to ponder what we talked about.

Saturday: We cleaned out the font for our baptism and had some more lessons, nothing incredible

Sunday: Great Sunday this week! First, me and Elder Maaboi taught a lesson to the members about how they can help in missionary work, which i am very proud of thank you very much. After that, we had a baptism, which was also incredible. I'm super proud of Nosipho for taking this step closer to Jesus Christ. We had lunch/correlation council with our EQP and had some lessons, including Babe Simalane, an awesome, question asking guy we are teaching. I also heard my favorite quote of the month from a 12 year old we are teaching. He wanted to know when he was getting baptized, and we told him he needed to.ask his parents for permission. “Dad, can I get baptized next of next of next week? I'm asking for a ✨️promotion✨️!” (By the way, this brings our number of baptisms on the 11th to 4)

Look at me being on time this week! Have a great week everyone and I'll mail again next!
